It had been a couple years since Brockport junior Patrick Viscardi scored three goals in an ice hockey game until Tuesday night.

Viscardi completed his hat trick with 2:55 remaining in overtime to give Brockport a 4-3 win over Irondequoit at The College at Brockport’s Tuttle North Ice Arena.

“I got a great pass from (junior) Alec Rockow and I was able to bury it,’’ Viscardi said. “It squeaked right past the goalie (low and blocker-side), a lucky bounce, but we got it done. We got the ‘W’ ’’

The first of three assists on Viscardi’s goals gave Brockport (3-0) senior Mitchell Henshaw 100 points in Section V Hockey.

Viscardi scored the game-winner on a feed by junior Alec Rockow.

Irondequoit led 2-0 after goals by Phillip Barilla and Patrick Hynes during the first half of the second period. Barilla, a sophomore at Irondequoit, evened the score 3-3 with 5:31 remaining in regulation.

Aquinas 8, Churchville-Chili 3

Eddie Giblin had two goals and two assists and Alex Opladen added four assists for Aquinas (2-3).

Corey Lewis added two goals for the Fighting Irish.

Penfield 2, Brighton/East Rochester/Honeoye Falls-Lima 0

Nick Rockhill had 22 saves to earn the shutout and Andrew Ebersol scored a power-play goal for Penfield (3-2).

Athena/Odyssey Thunder 6, Hilton 2

Carson Fotheringham scored two goals and Collin O’Leary had a goal and an assist to lead Athena/Odyssey (3-2).

Antonio Lombardo added three assists and Luke Green recorded 38 saves for the Thunder.

Notre Dame 7, Rush-Henrietta 1

Henrik Toiciainen had a hat trick and Ryan Webster recorded three assists for ND (4-0).

Webster Thomas 6, Victor 0

Pierce Currie had a goal and Collin Horan both had a goal and an assist for Thomas (4-0).
